An “active investigation” involving a robbery suspect from Barrie is ongoing at Toronto’s Union Station, police say.
Several police tactical vehicles were spotted heading towards the area early Monday morning, along with paramedics.
Toronto police spokesperson Katrina Arrogante said that they are looking for a man in his 20s, possibly injured, wearing a white shirt, beige pants and a beige jacket.
Toronto police are assisting Barrie Police with the investigation, Arrogante said.
Police say the man is said to be travelling on the GO. Metrolinx spokesperson Anne Marie Aikins told the Star that police have searched a train and a bus so far, but that the scene continues to be active.
Union Station remains open.
More to come.
