Man riding skateboard dead after hit-and-run in North York: police

A man is dead after a hit-and-run in North York early Monday morning, Toronto police say.

The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was struck while riding his skateboard in the area of Sheppard Ave. E. and Bonnington Place at around 1:10 a.m., Toronto paramedics say.
