An Amber Alert has been issued in Ontario for two young children, last seen in Newmarket with their grandfather on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the York Regional Police and the Amber Alert, issued early Thursday morning, brothers Harrison Larocque, 2, and Keegan Larocque, 4, were last seen at 3 p.m. Wednesday with their grandfather, Leo Easton, 70, at Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket.
In a tweet Wednesday at about 7:30, York police called Easton a “missing vulnerable person” and noted that he was driving a 2006 Blue Pontiac Montana Van with the licence plate BVBP 364.
He is described as a white male, 5ft 10 inches, 160 lbs., with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a blue checkered shirt, khaki shorts and white shoes, according to York police and the amber alert.
Police ask that anyone who sees Easton or the two children call 911 immediately.
