A teenager has died following a shooting in North York Thursday, Toronto police say.
Police were called to a residential building near Falstaff Ave. and Jane St. at 1:07 a.m. after reports of a shooting. After arriving, they found the male victim unresponsive, they said. He died at the scene.
Police believe the victim is 16, said Toronto police media spokesperson Katrina Arrogante.
Three suspects were seen fleeing the area in a dark-coloured Honda, said Arrogante. Police have not released further information about the circumstances of the incident or the identity of the victim.
The homicide unit is investigating.
