Toronto police are investigating two reports of feces being thrown at people in university libraries.

On Friday, someone allegedly entered Robarts Library at the University of Toronto and tossed fecal matter at a person.

Police spokesperson Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook said a similar incident occurred at a library at York University on Sunday.

Police say they do not know at this time if the two situations are connected.

No suspect information has been released yet, Douglas-Cook said.
