One man dead after shooting at Danforth and Greenwood

A man is dead after a shooting at a bar near Danforth and Greenwood early Wednesday morning, Toronto police say.

Toronto police received multiple calls of a shooting about 3 a.m. Officers located the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and late pronounced dead in hopsital.

The shooting is being treated as a homicide.

Police say they’ve located multiple shell casings at the scene and are asking anyone with information to contact investigators.

Danforth Avenue is closed between Greenwood Avenue and Linnsmore Crescent for the investigation.
