Amber Alert issued for fourteen-year-old boy abducted in North York

An Amber Alert has been issued after a 14-year-old boy was abducted in North York Wednesday morning.

Toronto police tweeted that Shammah Jolayemi was last seen near Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue at around 8:25 a.m., saying that they are “extremely concerned for his safety.”

The boy is described as five-foot-11 to six feet tall with a slim build and short dark brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie, a shiny black coat, black and yellow Air Jordan sneakers and grey track pants that had a thin orange stripe. He may also be carrying a red and black Adidas backpack

Police are looking for a black Jeep Wrangler with oversized front tires and a front push bar with round fog lights. The Jeep seen where the boy was last seen, police say. Investigators are also looking to speak to Olalekan Osikoya, the boy’s stepbrother.
